Looking Back to 1916: Oiling the Streets to Deal With the "Dust Nuisance"

1916, 100 Years Ago:
"The work of oiling the streets in the addition was commenced yesterday and is getting well along to completion. A good healthy coat of oil is being placed on the streets and will relieve the dust nuisance which was getting pretty bad."
