Despite the late start and the fact that the NCAA Basketball Championship game (8 pm here CDST) was only shown on TBS (it should have been CBS so everyone could see it, not just those with cable), this was a very fitting game between Kansas and the University of North Carolina which went right down to the final seconds before the Jayhawks won.
And that is considering that at one point, the Tarheels were up by 15 points causing me to fear another Elite 8 game blow out. When it comes to Tournament time I am all in for close games and upsets. And this tournament was all about that.
The whole first four days were that and more, especially with St. Peter's beating Kentucky. Then, the Sweet Sixteen was that for seven of the eight games. Elite 8 was the worst. All four games blowouts as was the first Final Four game, but the second one made up for it.
Till Next Year. --RoadDog
