The Shamrock Court Motel in Sullivan, Missouri. It can be yours for $125,000. Lots of possibilities. Actually, now you're too late. Missouri's Roamin' Rich bought it.

About Last Weekend: Two Legions, a Band, No Fireworks, Margaritaville, Da Bears and Da Sox

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2

We went to the Fox Lake American Legion on US-12 and enjoyed the 50s-60s music of Tony & the Effects from 3 to 6 pm.  We then went to Stucky's for a bite to eat and drink those $1 draft pints.  We had expected to see the Johnsburg fireworks from Stucky's but couldn't see them from there, unfortunately.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3

Watched the first part of the Bears game at our home bar, Margaritaville, and then went to the McHenry American Legion for the second half.  And, Da Bears won which was a big improvement from the manhandling of last week where our qb was sacked nine times.  Offensive line?  They were just plain offensive last week.

The White Sox lost the last game of the season, but won the previous five games so hopefully they will be going into the playoffs on a roll.

Go White Sox.  --RoadDog
