DECEMBER 26
A closer look at the closed MacArthur Bridge in St. Louis.
It once connected East St. Louis and St, Louis across the Mississippi River and has been closed for the past 40 years but is still standing.
Tattoo Tony Alton and Roamin' Rich both made videos of what the bridge looks like now.
It was also called the Municipal Bridge and Free Bridge. It originally opened in 1917 and was renamed for Gen. Douglas MacArthur in 1942.The automobile deck on it was removed in 2014.
