Artist shows how he brings dead neon signs to back to life with "augmented restoration."

An artist by the name of Craig Winslow at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas is using technology to bring them back.

First, he learns what the sign looked like in its heyday and how it was animated.  He then digitally traces it onto a program and reanimates and colors them.

This is a great process to bring those back to life, especially until funds can be found to restore them.

And, as I always say, "You can always use a little more (or lot more) neon!!"
