Doc's Soda Fountain in Girard gets new owner.
The 130-years-old store plans to reopen sometime in April after some interior work is done.
The Deck brothers ran it for many years when it was called Deck's Drug Store. Their grandfather started the drug store in 1884 and the soda fountain dates to 1929.
Bob and Renae Erust bought the building in 2007 and renamed it Doc's Soda Fountain and the Deck family loaned them their pharmacy collection.
